Lane Closures: Route 113 and Old Shawnee Road Intersection

Screen Shot 2015-04-09 at 2.08.27 PMThe Department of Transportation’s (DelDOT) Traffic Signal Construction Section in conjunction with Kriss Contracting are scheduled to begin work for the installation of a new traffic signal, electrical work, and new pavement striping.

Beginning on Tuesday, May 26, there will be intermittent lane closures northbound and southbound on U.S. Route 113, plus eastbound and westbound lane closures on Old Shawnee Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Work will not take place after noon on Fridays. This work will also require some night work. The project is expected to be complete by early July, pending weather.

Variable message signs have been placed on site to advise motorists in advance of the signal work.
