South Carolina man charged in Attempted Bank Robbery

On Wenesday, June 3 The Milford Police Criminal Division arrested and charged a 65yo South Carolina man stemming from a bank robbery attempt that occurred at Artisans’ Bank on the morning of June 3, 2015. Peter A. Harrison of Gaston, South Carolina was charged with Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree, Disorderly Conduct and Terroristic Threatening. Police state that detectives discovered that Harrison entered the bank and demanded $100 bills from one of the employees. Harrison was not inside the bank to make a transaction and only demanded the money numerous times. Harrison used profane language and obscene gestures toward the employees before fleeing the bank without obtaining the money. According to police,  Harrison also made statements about killing one of the employees to detectives. Harrison was apprehended by Milford Police in the parking lot of WAWA just after fleeing the bank. Harrison was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $6,500.00 secured bond.
