17yo Juvenile Charged in Multiple Robberies

On May 24, 2015 the Milford Police Criminal Division arrested and charged a 17yo male juvenile, of Lincoln in connection with multiple robberies that occurred on 4/21/15 and 5/21/15. The incident that occurred on 4/21/15 occurred on N. Church St. in the area of Brightway Commons at 4:45pm. The 17yo male juvenile was charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Conspiracy 2nd Degree. Police state that detectives discovered that the 17yo male juvenile and 2 other male suspects approached the 19yo male victim and demanded his property or they would shoot him but did not display a weapon. The 17yo male juvenile and the other suspects removed the victim’s property from his pockets and then fled on foot.

The incident that occurred on 5/21/15 occurred in the 300 block of North St at 5:30pm. The 17yo male juvenile was charged with Assault 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree (2 counts), Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Conspiracy 2nd Degree and Assault 3rd Degree. Police state that detectives discovered that the 52yo male victim and the 29yo male victim were both walking on foot in the 300 block of North St. The two were then approached by 4 male suspects (one being the 17yo male juvenile). Both victims were assaulted by the male suspects. The 52yo male victim was struck with a bottle by one of the suspects. The 17yo male juvenile and the other 3 suspects removed money from the victims and then fled on foot. The 52yo male victim was transported to Milford Bayhealth Hospital by EMS and then later transported to another area hospital with a serious head injury. The 52yo male victim was listed in serious condition. The 17yo male juvenile was arraigned and committed to The Stevenson House Detention Center in default of $53,000 cash bond. This is still an ongoing investigation.
