Dover Men Arrested and Charged in Armed Robbery

On June 26, 2015 the Milford Police arrested and charged two Dover men in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on the night of 6/26/15 in the 300 block of NE Front St. Hah-Keam Earle, 22yo of Dover and Darren Tolson, 20yo of Dover were both charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Assault 2nd Degree Victim 62yo or Older and Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree. Police state that investigation revealed that both Earle and Tolson approached the 67yo male victim on foot and asked the victim for money. When the victim refused to provide them with money, they then punched the victim face. Earle and Tolson each brandished what appeared to be handguns and demanded money from the victim. The victim did not have money to provide them so instead he provided them with his personal property. Both Earle and Tolson attempted to flee on foot after the robbery occurred, however coincidentally, two officers the Milford Police Patrol Division were driving by and observed both Earle and Tolson running. Simultaneously, the 67yo male victim came running to the officers advising them that he was a victim of an armed robbery. The officers stopped both Earle and Tolson and took both of them into custody without incident. Officers located the victim’s property and the two handguns used in the incident. The two handguns were revealed to be a Glock style bb gun and a plastic toy gun. The victim suffered minor injuries to his face & mouth and refused medical treatment. Both Earle and Tolson were arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $43,501.00 secured bond.
