Arrested for tampering with ex-girlfriend’s brakes

On July 5, 2015 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 41yo Milford man in connection with a domestic dispute that occurred on June 29, 2015. Jean Gustave was charged with Reckless Endangering 1st Degree and Criminal Mischief Under $1000. Investigation revealed that Gustave had previously been in a relationship with the 39yo female victim. According to police, upon the relationship ending, Gustave unscrewed screws out of the rear brake calipers on the female victim’s vehicle without her knowing. The female victim did not discover the damage to the vehicle until after she attempted to drive the vehicle. Gustave had also stated that he would do more damage to the female victim’s vehicle the next time. Gustave was arraigned and released on $5,100.00 unsecured bond.
