The District I Little League Big League softball team has gotten off to a fast start up in Worcester Massachusetts. Behind pitching and defense that has yielded just three runs over the first three games, the team from Delaware has sprinted out to a 3-0 record. As a result of their fast start, the team which contains a great many players from in and around Milford has qualified for elimination play. Following Monday’s 12-1 victory over the Massachusetts State Champions, District I has all but locked up the top seed headed into Wednesdays championship round.

Both teams from Pennsylvania were declared ineligible for the tournament, forcing what was planned to be a two pool tournament into a single pool.
