Changes in Deposits & Fees

Following a Public Hearing on June 22, 2015, City Council amended and adopted Ordinance 2015-10 ‘Milford’s Electric Rules and Regulations’.  Included were changes in utility deposits for renters. The deposits shown below are required to be paid by all renters when setting up new services:

Electric Deposit $250.00

Solid Waste Deposit $100.00

New Service Connect Fee $50.00

TOTAL DUE FOR A NEW SERVICE $400.00

The following miscellaneous fees may also apply:

Return Item/Check Fee $50.00

Reconnect Fee (Business Hours) $50.00

After Hours Reconnect Fee $100.00
