Preserving and protecting important documents and items has grown increasingly important in today’s society. Milford Southern States is working to help people protect the things they feel are valuable, whether it be a family heirloom or locking up guns to prevent access by children. From October 22 through October 24, the Milford location will hold their annual Safe Sale, offering major discounts and specials on all types of safes.

“This is a really big event for us,” said Gary Rhodes, Manager of Milford Southern States. “We will have tents set up in the parking lot and will have two factory representatives on hand to answer any questions people may have.” Mr. Rhodes said there will be a truckload of safes available for purchase and that the store carries a wide variety of them at all times.

Southern States carries models from the Heritage Safe Company. Heritage Safe Company was founded by Ron and Troy Nielsen in 1993. Residents of Soda Springs, Idaho, the two men chose the town of Grace for their headquarters because of available rental facilities. Today, the company produces as many as 85 safes per day and their products are ranked in the top 10 of safe producers in the country. Every safe has a 60-minute fire protection, velour interior along with the best warranty in the safe industry.

“We have safes designed for any purpose,” Mr. Rhodes said. “It is amazing what things people purchase a safe to protect. People have told us they were buying them to place family heirlooms in when they went out of town, to store important documents in case of fire, even money that they don’t want to place in the bank. With hunting season coming up, many people are looking at safes to store their guns as well. Having a safe in your home provides you with peace of mind that your valuables and important documents are safe.”

Mr. Rhodes said that the prices offered during the special Safe Tent Sale are some of the best offered throughout the year, so anyone who is considering investing in a safe should visit the Milford location during the three-day event. The sale will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 22 and 23 from 7 AM until 5 PM and on Saturday from 7 AM until 12 Noon. Anyone interested in purchasing a safe can stop in at the Milford location or give them a call at 422-8066.
