Georgetown man arrested for Stalking in Milford

On October 26, 2015 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 23yo Georgetown man in connection with a domestic dispute that occurred on the roadway in the 900 block of S. Walnut St. Malcom A. Bowden was charged with Stalking, Reckless Endangering 2nd Degree, Harassment, Criminal Mischief Under $1000 and Disorderly Conduct. Police state that investigation revealed that the 19yo female victim was exiting the parking lot of her place of employment (a local business) when she observed Bowden sitting across the street in his vehicle. Bowden followed the female victim’s vehicle onto numerous streets within the city limits. Once on S. Walnut St, Bowden began tailgating the female victim’s vehicle before increasing his speed and passing the female victim’s vehicle. While in front of the vehicle, Bowden slammed on his brakes, stopped & turned his vehicle sideways blocking the entire roadway. The female victim was forced to stop her vehicle in order to avoid a collision. Bowden then exited his vehicle, went to the victim’s vehicle and attempted to open her vehicle doors before she could back the vehicle up. When Bowden could not gain entry into the locked doors, he began punching the front windshield of the vehicle causing it to shatter. Bowden then fled the area but was later apprehended. Bowden was arraigned and released after posting a $1,600.00 secured bond.
