Charged after Violating a Domestic Protection Order

On November 22, 2015 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 42yo Milford man stemming from a domestic incident that occurred on October 18, 2015 on the roadway in the area of Fisher Ave and SE 2nd St. Michael Carlisle was charged with Criminal Contempt Violation of a Domestic Violence Protection From Abuse Order and Offensive Touching. According to police, investigation revealed that the 26yo female victim was walking on Fisher Ave when she was struck from behind and knocked to the ground by Carlisle. Carlisle then stood over top of the female victim began punching the victim repeatedly. Carlisle then fled on foot prior to police arrival. Carlisle had already been court ordered not to have any contact with the female victim stemming from prior domestic incidents. Carlisle was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $3,200.00 cash bond.
