Charged with Assault and Rioting

On November 24, 2015 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 20yo Milford man stemming from an incident that occurred on November 8, 2015 at the Boys & Girls Club facility. On November 8, 2015, shortly after midnight, the Milford Police responded to the Boys & Girls Club facility after receiving a report of a large fight within a large crowd. Police state that investigation revealed that Taevon I. Potts and several other suspects physically attacked the 39yo male victim. Potts and the others began punching the male victim. Potts then started punching and breaking the glass out of the vending machines. Potts was charged with Riot, Assault 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief Under $1,000.00. The victim suffered minor injuries to the face. Potts was arraigned and released on $3,500.00 unsecured bond.
