One hundred three associates at the Perdue Farms’ Milford processing facility were honored recently for their years of service to the company. The recognition included associates who retired during the past year and those with at
least 20 years of service with Perdue. Those associates who retired from Perdue were Marie Charlescar, Gary Jones, Sandra Kellam, Patricia Melson, Patricia Murray, Mirta Veliz, Malee Webb, Mary Winstead, and Betty Worster. One associate, Patricia Melson was recognized for 35 years of service. Robert Crapper was recognized for 30 years of service.
Ninety five associates were recognized for at least 20 years of service. “As Perdue celebrates 20 years at the Milford facility, it is truly the dedication and support of these long-term associates that has made us successful,” said Dean Walston, director of operations. “We truly appreciate their service to our company and facility.” Each retired associate was presented a watch. Each active associate achieving a service milestone was presented a pewter plate.
