Staff Report

Delaware Tech Terry Campus women’s cross country student-athlete Keyondra Wayman was recently honored with a 2015-16 NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement Award. Formerly known as an Academic All-America honor, the Exemplary Academic Achievement Award is given to a student-athlete who has a career GPA of 3.60 to 3.79. During Wayman’s two seasons of competition the women’s cross country team finished second in 2015 and third in 2014 in the NJCAA Region 19 Championship.

“Keyondra is an exceptional young lady in both the classroom and on the athletic field,” said Ray Parker, the College’s women’s cross country head coach. “She played a major role in our team’s success at the regional championships and her attitude and self-motivation made her a valuable asset to the program.”
