The smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages, this much-revived classic from the playwright of Private Lives offers up fussy, cantakerous novelist Charles Condomine, re-married but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira who is called up by a visiting “happy medium”, one Madame Arcati. As the (worldly and un-) personalities clash, Charles’ current wife Ruth is accidentally killed, “passes over”, joins Elvira and the two “blithe spirits” haunt the hapless Charles into perpetuity.

Directors Guy and Tammy Crawford this great show to life with the help of the extremely talented cast from all around the Delmarva area. The cast will keep you guessing about what will happen next and will have you laughing from start to finish. Will Charles be able to deal with his two wives dead or alive or will they break his “Spirit”. Come down to the Riverfront Theater and see what happens to this most unusual family.

Don’t miss this world class comedy September 9,10,11,16,17,18 at the Riverfront Theater. Tickets are $17 and can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com or by calling the box office at 800-838-3006. For more information on this and any upcoming shows visit secondstreetplayers.com
