One of the good things about Fall apart from Football is not feeling guilty going into a movie theater and missing some of that summer sunshine, There is always a lot of talk about Summer blockbusters but there are still some great movies coming up before the end of this year that i am excited to see.

Tom Cruise is back in this role for movie number two, I was surprised how much i liked the first one so i am hoping this one is just as good or if not better, In this movie Jack Reacher heads back to his old military base in Virginia to take a woman to dinner who is now the commanding officer.

By the time he gets there, she has been arrested, and Reacher finds himself being charged with pummeling one guy and fathering a child with a woman.
He can’t remember either transgression but gets to the bottom of it with cunning and sometimes brute force.

Based on the novel of the same name which is the 18th book in the series.

The successful horror film franchise returns 14 years after the original movie with a contemporary take on the cursed videotape.

If you haven’t checked out the trailer then you should this movie looks awesome if you like to scream and jump at horror movies, And if you haven’t seen the originals it might be a good time to watch those before you see this.

In the new movie a young woman becomes worried about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious videotape said to kill the watcher seven days after he has viewed it.

She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a “movie within the movie” that no one has ever seen before.

This movie i am super pumped to see, If you were a big fan of the Di Vinci Code and Angels & Demons you will be happy like me to know that Robert Langdon is back.

Tom Hanks is back on the big screen as Harvard Symbologist Robert Langdon.

This time he tries to stop a global genocide scheme by following clues in Dante Alighieri’s “The Divine Comedy” which take him to Florence and Venice, Italy.

He battles a chilling adversary and grapples with an ingenious riddle that pulls him into a landscape of classic art, secret passageways, and futuristic science.

The Da Vinci Code took in $758 million worldwide in 2006, while Angels & Demons earned $485 million globally in 2009, So it will be interesting to see how well this one will do, But from the trailer it looks just as good as the previous 2.

I am leaving the best till last, If you are a Harry Potter fan like i am then you will be very excited about this movie.

This is the first installment of the new Harry Potter spinoff franchise, which is being planned as a trilogy, This also is J. K. Rowling’s screenwriting debut and inspired by her book of the same name.

The movie is set in 1926 and we are introduced to Newt Scamander who has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures.

Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, Also there is a misplaced magical case which leads to the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

This is going to be a huge franchise for J.K Rowling and this could turn out to be one of the biggest movies of the year.

So those are my four picks for upcoming movies over the next six weeks… Enjoy because i am.
