Preserving and protecting important documents, valuables and firearms has become increasingly important in today’s society. Because robberies and home burglaries increase during the holiday season, which is fast approaching, Milford Southern States hopes to help your family keep their important items safe from thieves by offering high-quality safes built by Rhino Safe Company at their annual Safe Sale. The sale will be on Thursday and Friday, November 3 and 4 from 7 AM until 5 PM and on Saturday, November 5 from 7 AM until 12 Noon.

“This will be the best time to get a safe at an excellent price,” Gary Rhodes, Manager of Southern States, said. “We will have a truckload of safes available to choose from, actually the largest selection in the area. The safes are of outstanding quality and workmanship. You can purchase a gun safe or a home safe to protect your valuables. They make outstanding Christmas gifts.”

The safes are manufactured by Rhino Metals, Inc., which was founded in 1995 by Don Suggs, a fighter pilot that enjoyed working with his hands. He decided to use the discipline and commitment to excellence he gained in the United States Air Force to build a metalworking company. The company is headquartered in Caldwell, Idaho. In 1999, Mr. Suggs was asked to build a gun safe for his father as a way to keep his firearms out of the reach of his grandchildren. His father had been unable to find anything locally that was affordable and secure. Mr. Suggs researched safe design and developed a new, tougher design. This led to two patents and the launching of Rhino Safe Company.

The company has consistently set new industry standard for quality, value and customer service. It is now one of the leading United States gun safe companies. Rhino Metals employs a large number of veterans and the company still focuses on discipline as well as a relentless commitment to excellence. The company was named after the F-4 aircraft that Mr. Suggs flew while in the Air Force, nicknamed the “rhino” due to the long nose and toughness of the aircraft.

“We have just started carrying this line of safes,” Mr. Rhodes said. “We carry the Ironworks and Kodiak lines in Milford. There will be factory representatives on hand during the sale as well to answer any questions. We will also have discounts on other items such as workbenches and tool chests. This sale is the best time to get the best prices on all types of safes and other items.”

Mr. Rhodes said that a home safe is an excellent way to protect valuables or important documents. He said that with the holiday season approaching, protecting valuables becomes even more important as there is often an increase in home burglaries during the holiday season. A safe is an excellent way to secure your valuables.
