On, Saturday, October 29 Sugar Bee Boutique, located at 40 N Walnut St, hosted a Halloween Party & Costume Contest. Event goers won free treats for cutest, scariest, most original and best group costumes. Opening in 2014, Sugar Bee features over 120 jars filled with different types of candy on their candy wall alone and dozens of gourmet chocolate options as they specialize in items that cannot be purchased in local stores including nostalgic candy lines from the 1940’s on. In addition to gourmet chocolates and fine candies, the boutique also offers reduced and sugar free candy and local honey for all individuals that have a sweet tooth. They also offer custom order items and provide candy bar services for weddings, birthdays and other events.
