Lulu Ross Elementary recently held their Family Night. The annual evening is a chance to get students and parents involved in the school through activities other than school work. The school was packed with families from the Milford School District as they made their own games and enjoying ones that teachers had prepared. Over 600 people came out to participate in this year’s Disney Themed Evening.
“There was a large variety of activities for families to explore. Some were academic related and others were for enjoyment. Several local health agencies were present such as the Delaware Fire School, Bay Health Safety, Lared, A Better Chance for our Children, and Beebe Respiratory Department,” said Lulu Ross Elementary Principal Cindy McKenzie. “In addition there was a light dinner served with musical entertainment provided by Mr. David Shockley and Mr. Lionel Shockley. Several staff dressed for the occasion and students were encouraged to come in dress as well.”
