Del-One’s Holiday Spirit Give Back

The Del-One Foundation focuses on giving back to the community by raising funds and donating to charities that benefit the residents of Delaware. Funds for the Del-One Foundation are raised throughout the year with candy sales, membership dues, “jeans day” donations, and fundraising events including a charity golf tournament. With below freezing temperatures and the immediate needs of those less fortunate, the Del-One Foundation was excited to be able to donate $2500 to Code Purple. This organization, organized and staffed by volunteers, provides a safe, warm shelter and hot meals to individuals and families who are homeless. A “Code Purple” is activated whenever the night-time temperature is expected to fall below 32 degrees. In addition to a warm bed and a hot meal, guests are also provided with resources to help with medical, employment and financial issues. Del-One is proud to support this wonderful program.
