Attempted Burglary Investigation Leads to Arrest

On January 4, 2017 officers from the Milford Police Department responded to a residence in the 300 block of Truitt Avenue to a report of a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival officers located Tamar Bolden, 25 of Greenwood, after it was learned he was attempting to gain access to the residence through a rear door. Mr. Bolden was unable to gain access to the residence and was located on the scene by a responding officer. Mr. Bolden was taken into custody without incident. As Mr. Bolden was attempting to gain access to the residence, he was reportedly advising the victims inside that he had a gun. Mr. Bolden has been charged with Terroristic Threatening, 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespass 3rd degree. Mr. Bolden was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #3, where bail was set at $4500.00 unsecured, along with a no contact order with the victims. Mr. Bolden is scheduled to appear at the Justice of Peace Court #7 for an arraignment on March 15, 2017.
