Domestic Investigation Leads To Arrest

On January 20, 2017 at approximately 9:55pm officers from the Milford Police Department responded to Travelers Inn on North Walnut Street to a report of a domestic situation. Prior to arrival Jonathan W. Stone, 33 of Milford, who was one of the parties believed to have been involved had fled the scene. Police state that a search of the area later located Mr. Stone in a parking lot nearby, just west of North DuPont Highway (US Rt 113). Through the investigation it was determined Mr. Stone was wanted by Kent County Superior Court, Kent County Court of Common Pleas, and the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Stone was taken into custody and later transported the the Sussex Correction Institution and is scheduled for arraignment at a later time due to the level of intoxication at the time of his arrest.
