Detectives Seek Public Assistance With Armed Robbery

On February 5, 2017 at approximately 10:49 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department responded to Memorial Park to a report of an armed robbery. Police state that investigation revealed the victim was approached by a black male who demanded he give him all of his money. The suspect then showed the victim what appeared to be his hand gun in his waistband. The victim gave his wallet to the suspect, which contained an undisclosed amount of United States Currency. The suspect then struck the victim once prior to fleeing towards Franklin Street. The victim declined any medical treatment following this incident. The suspect is described as a black male,gray facial hair, 6ft tall, dark brown jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
