Vehicle Investigation Leads to Fugitive Arrest




On February 24, 2017 at approximately 12:20 am, officers from the Milford Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of South Washington Street. Upon arrival officers made contact with the five occupants of the vehicle. According to police, further investigation determined two of those occupants were wanted by three Delaware courts. Officers took Timicia Jarvis, 19 of Milford, and Keishae M. Burton, 20 of Bridgville, into custody at the scene without incident. Ms. Jarvis was also found to be in possession of Marijuana at the time of her arrest. Ms. Jarvis was charged with Possession of Marijuana and was found to be wanted by the Justice of the Peace Court #6 and Kent County Family Court. Ms. Jarvis was presented via video phone at the Justice of the Peace Court #7 and released on an unsecured bond. Ms. Burton was also presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7 on a capias issued by the Kent County Court of Common Pleas and bail was set in that case at $200.00 unsecured. Both were released with pending court dates at the three respective courts.
