On February 28, 2017 Milford Police Department responded to the 500 block of S.E. Front St in response to a domestic incident. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the reporting person Aubrey Garcia, who claimed to have been assaulted by a family member. Police state that further investigation indicated that Garcia was actually not a victim, but a suspect. Witnesses on scene stated that Garcia allegedly assaulted the victim, and when another family member tried to stop her she allegedly assaulted them as well.

As a result of the altercation Garcia requested treatment at Milford Memorial Hospital. She was transported by ambulance, treated for various minor injuries, and released a short time later. As she was being discharged, Milford Police took her into custody without incident. She was charged with assault third degree and offensive touching.

Garcia was arraigned at the Justice of The Peace Court 3 and released on $750.00 unsecured bail.
