Fight Inside Grocery Store Leads To Arrest

On February 26, 2017 at approximately 5:34 p.m., The Milford Police Department Patrol Division responded to an assault in progress at Redner’s Market. Contact was made with both parties and the investigation revealed that the assault occurred as a result of an alleged parking lot traffic issue. Police state the investigation revealed that both parties allegedly exchanged words in the parking lot of the grocery store and then once inside the store, both parties allegedly made contact with each other and a fight began. According to police, The investigation revealed that both parties, Tiesha Mcintosh, 37 of Lincoln DE, and Samantha Boddy, 18 of Lincoln DE, allegedly suffered minor injuries from the incident, but did not require any medical treatment.

On March 2, 2017, Samantha Boddy responded to Milford Police Department and was charged with one count of Offensive Touching as a result of this incident. She was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on her own recognizance. On the same day, Tiesha Mcintosh responded to Milford Police Department and was charged with one count of Offensive Touching as a result of this incident. She was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $100.00 unsecured bond. Both Boddy and Mcintosh were order to have no contact with one another. They were also ordered to appear in Sussex County Court of Common Pleas at a later date.
