Man Arrested For Resisting Arrest

 

 

On March 4, 2017 at 12:29 a.m., Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a report of a possible domestic situation at a residence in the 200 Block of N. Walnut St. Officers made contact with a male subject outside the residence and asked him to come and speak to them, instead he went into the residence and refused to come out. After repeated attempts to have him come to the door and for the concern of the safety of the other residents inside the residence, a search warrant was obtained to search the residence. According to police, once officers made entry into the residence, the other residents’ were found to be safe and okay. The male subject who failed to comply with the officers request was taken into custody. The male subject identified as Jose Diaz, 29 of Milford DE, was charged with one count of Resisting Arrest. He was issued a criminal summons and given a future court date in the Justice of the Peace Court 7.
