Welfare Of Milford Woman Results In Drug Arrest

 

 

On March 5, 2017 at approximately 9:24 am, an officer from the Milford Police Department responded to the 100 block of Aerenson Drive to a check on the welfare of a woman who was seated in a parked vehicle with the drivers side door partially open. Upon arrival the officer observed the woman seated in the vehicle and she appeared to be sleeping. The officer also observed drug paraphernalia visible in the vehicle. Police state that further contact with the woman and a subsequent search located heroin, crack cocaine, and more drug paraphernalia than originally observed. Kathryn E. Christensen, 27 of Milford, was taken into custody by the officer without incident. Ms. Christensen has been charged with two counts of Possess Consume a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance without a Prescription and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ms. Christensen was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $1500.00 unsecured. Ms. Christensen is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas in May for an arraignment.
