Charged Following Burglary Investigation

On March 8, 2017 at approximately 9:04 am officers responded to the Silver Hill Apartment complex (500 block of Northwest Front Street) to a report of an unknown male in the basement of one of the buildings. Upon arrival officers made contact with Marque Anthony, 27 of Milford, who had gained access to the building through a basement door. Mr. Anthony was taken into custody without incident. A search of Mr. Anthony also determined he was in possession of a knife and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Anthony has been charged with Burglary Second Degree, Carry a Concealed Dangerous Instrument, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. While in custody Mr. Anthony failed to comply with the request to be finger printed and photographed. That action resulted in an additional charge of Failure to Comply with Taking of Photos and Fingerprints. Mr. Anthony was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $4500.00 unsecured. Mr. Anthony is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on March 17th for a Preliminary Hearing.
