2017 Student Summer Volunteers Needed

Staff Report

Applications are now being accepted for student volunteers at Bayhealth. This rewarding program allows students to learn about the field of healthcare while giving back to their community. The program begins in June and ends in the middle of August. Students can volunteer at both Kent General and Milford Memorial.

Student volunteers work in all facets of the health system. Some aid in clerical work, others assist with patient transport. Last year, more than 20 departments hosted student volunteers. Students must be 16 or older by June 15 to participate. Interviews will begin in the spring.

Interested students can go to bayhealth.org/studentapplication to apply. The application will be open until March 28. For questions or more information, please contact Volunteer Services at Kent General by calling 302-744-7153 or Milford Memorial by calling 302-430-5621.
