Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Lincoln Man

On March 13, 2017 at approximately 8:56 pm officers responded to the 900 block of North DuPont Blvd (US Rt 113) to a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival officers located Jeffrey L. Hatch, 53 of Lincoln. Further investigation determined Mr. Hatch allegedly was consuming alcoholic beverages in a public place and was found to be wanted by the Kent County Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Hatch was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Milford Police Department, where he was issued a criminal summons for Unlawful to Consume Any Alcoholic Beverage Upon Public Streets, Parks, or Alleys. Mr. Hatch was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2 for the active warrant issued by the Kent County Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Hatch was released after an unsecured bond was issued in that case and scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas at a later date. Mr. Hatch is scheduled for an arraignment at the Justice of the Peace Court #6 in April for the criminal summons that was issued for the public consumption of alcohol.
