**Updated W/ Arrest** Milford Police Asking Public Assistance With Identifying Suspect Who Exposed Himself To Juvenile

On March 17, 2017 Milford Police arrested Jeffrey A. Lovett, 28 of Milford, after warrants were obtained as part of this investigation. Mr. Lovett has been charged with Sexual Solicitation of a Child Under 18 and Indecent Exposure First Degree. Mr. Lovett was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2 where bail was set at $11,000.00 unsecured, along with a no contact order with the victim. Mr. Lovett is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 03.24.2017 for a Preliminary Hearing.

On March 15, 2017 Milford Police were notified about an indecent exposure that had taken place in the 1000 block of North Walnut Street at approximately 8:33 am. Police state that investigation revealed the victim was walking in a private parking lot in the 1000 block of North Walnut Street when they were approached by a dark colored sport utility vehicle. The victim reports as the vehicle pulled up, the operator was exposing himself to them. The victim ignored the operator and continued to their destination. The investigation revealed a green Jeep Cherokee was captured on a nearby surveillance system and Milford Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the operator of this vehicle to see if they have any information that could be of assistance with this investigation. The operator has been described as a white male, possibly mid 30’s, thin nose, large build, with a green or blue beanie cap.
