Highlights: Mya Maddox started the hitting cycle for the Spartans with a lead-off triple and went 3-3. Milford tied the game with a double from Darby Brenna in the third scoring a run and took the lead by a pass ball. Lake took the lead for good in the bottom of the 4th when Brook Glanden hit a double to score Grace Aguilar. Kayla Thompson hit a homerun in the fifth with two strikes to put the Spartans on top. For Milford, Morgan Petty went 2-2 and Julia Reed got a hit and an RBI when she entered the game in the top of the 6th.

Bryce Greenly, William Kimmel, and Jimmy Kucharzyk each had 2 hits. Jordan Farlow struck out 5 in relief and Tyler Chalmers had 2 hits for the Spartans. Coleman Morris made several plays defensively for Lake Forest.
