Smyrna Man Arrested For Shoplifting

 

 

On March 29, 2017 at 12:23 p.m., Milford Police Department Patrol Division was dispatched to a shoplifting in progress at Walmart, located at 939 N DuPont Blvd. As patrol units were responding to the scene, they were advised that the suspect had fled from the scene in a light green Ford Focus. Responding units located the light green Ford Focus stopped at the traffic light of Warner Rd and Rt 113. Police determined that the operator of the vehicle matched the description of the suspect described by the loss prevention at Walmart. Contact was made with the operator, Joshua Jarman, 29 of Smyrna, DE. Further investigation resulted in the recovery of the stolen property which Jarman allegedly possessed. Jarman was taken into custody for shoplifting without incident and transported to Milford Police Department. Jarman was issued a criminal summons for Shoplifting and was released from police custody. He was given a future arraignment date at Justice of the Peace Court 6.
