On April 4, 2017 Milford Police arrested Lance A. Perkins, 24 of Lewisberry, PA, to complete an investigation into a 2014 fraudulent return of merchandise case at Walmart on North DuPont Highway (US Rt 113). Police state that investigation revealed on three occasions in May of 2014 Mr. Perkins reportedly made fraudulent returns of merchandise in exchange for Walmart gift cards. As a result of these findings a warrant was obtained for Mr. Perkins. On April 4, 2017 Mr. Perkins turned himself into Milford Police and has been charged with three counts of Theft By False Pretense Under $1500. Mr. Perkins was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2 where bail was set at $1500.00 unsecured, along with a no contact order being issued with Walmart. Mr. Perkins is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas in May for an arraignment.
