Arrest One And Seek Another, Counterfeit Money Investigation

 

On April 10, 2017 Milford Police arrested Marvin D. Spady, 46 of Milford, after warrants were obtained as part of an April 5th investigation at Walgreens on North DuPont Blvd (US Rt 113). On April 5th an investigation began following a report of an individual attempting to purchase items with money that was later determined to be counterfeit. Also as part of this investigation store surveillance determined other items were concealed and removed from the store. Mr. Spady has been charged with Conspiracy 3rd Degree and Theft By False Pretense. Mr. Spady was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $1000.00 unsecured. A warrant was also obtained for Jennifer M. Sparacio, 29 of Greenwood, after the investigation identified her as reportedly being involved in this incident. Ms Sparacio is also being sought on an active warrant out of the Kent County Superior Court. Milford Police urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ms. Sparacio to call 302.422.8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.
