Arrested Following A Domestic Incident

 

On March 20, 2017 at approximately 2:46 p.m. Milford Police Department Patrol Division responded to the 300 Block of Carlisle Lane for a domestic incident. Officers made contact with the victim who advised that Sametone Corvil, 19 of Milford, DE, had engaged in a verbal altercation with her in the area of Salvation Army located on SE Front St. The victim advised that the Corvil allegedly took her cell phone from her and repeatedly threw it on the ground causing it to break. She also advised that Corvil allegedly pushed her in the chest. Corvil then left the area. Warrants were obtained for Corvil as a result of this incident.

On March 13, 2017, Corvil was taken into custody without incident and charged with Offensive Touching and Criminal Mischief Under $1000. He was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $100.00 unsecured bail with a no contact order with the victim. He was order to appear at a later date in Sussex County Court of Common Pleas.
