On April 18, 2017 at 12:20 p.m., Milford Police Department Patrol Division responded to a fight in progress at the Cascades at Milford Development located off of Airport Rd. in Milford, DE. As officers were en route to the fight, they were advised that the suspects had fled from the scene. Investigation revealed that the suspects, identified as Raiquam Mosley, 18 of Lincoln, DE, and a male juvenile allegedly responded to the development and confronted the victim in the parking lot. It was alleged that this incident stemmed from a previous incident that occurred in Lewes, DE on 04/13/2017. Investigation revealed that Mosley and the juvenile suspect allegedly assaulted the victim in the parking lot causing injury to the victim. Investigation also revealed that Mosley allegedly broke the victim’s cell phone and eye glasses during the assault. It was also learned that the juvenile suspect allegedly threatened bodily harm to another subject that was present during the altercation. The victim declined medical treatment for his injuries. Warrants were obtained for Mosley and the juvenile suspect in this case.
On April 18, 2017, Mosley turned himself into Milford Police Department. He was charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief Under $1000, and Disorderly Conduct. Mosley was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $7000.00 unsecured bail and was issued a no contact order with the victim. He was ordered to appear in Kent Count Court of Common Pleas at a later date for a preliminary hearing.
On 04/19/2017, the juvenile suspect turned himself into Milford Police Department with a guardian. He was charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Terroristic Threatening, and Disorderly Conduct. It was also learned that he had a capias out of Kent County Family Court. He was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on $4250.00 unsecured bail with a no contact order with the victim. He was released on $500.00 unsecured bail in reference to the capias. He was ordered to appear in Kent County Family Court at a later date for a hearing on the new charges as well as for the capias.
