May 9, 2017 2017 at approximately 7:50 pm officers from the Milford Police Department responded to the 100 block of Fisher Avenue to a report of a terroristic threatening. Police state that investigation revealed Antonio Franco-Chavez, 44 of Milford, allegedly made comments to the victim threatening bodily harm and damaged a cell phone that belonged to the victim. This incident was witnessed by two children who were in the residence at the time. Mr. Franco-Chavez has been charged with Terroristic Threatening, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Criminal Mischief. Mr. Franco-Chavez was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #3 in Georgetown where bail was set at $1600.00 secured, along with a no contact order with the victims. Mr. Franco-Chavez is scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Family Court for an arraignment on May 22nd.
