On May 19, 2017 Milford Police arrested a 28 year old Milford man following an investigation into a burglary of a vehicle in the 600 block of Northwest Front Street (SR 14). Officers on patrol located Marque Anthony, 28 of Milford, whom they knew was being sought by several Delaware courts. Upon contacting Mr. Anthony, officers located property on his person that did not belong to him. One of the items was a credit card that also appeared to have been used by Mr. Anthony. According to police, further investigation located the owners of this property and warrants were obtained for Mr. Anthony. Mr. Anthony has been charged with Burglary Third Degree, Theft Under $1500, Unlawful Use of Payment Card, Theft By False Pretense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Anthony was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $1600.00 secured. Mr. Anthony has been committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution. Mr. Anthony is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on June 2nd for a Preliminary Hearing.
