The Milford School District Instrumental program and the Milford Community Band are happy to announce this year’s recipients of free summer lessons through the Summer Scholarship Program. For 15 years the Milford Community Band has teamed up with elementary and middle school band students to provide a wonderful one-on-one learning experience each summer. This year, through the generous donations of many local individuals, families and businesses the program has awarded 23 scholarships where each student will receive a summer full of individualized lessons with a local professional musician. Thank you to the following businesses for your support of this program: Atlantic Concrete, Milford Moose Family Center, Response Computer Group, The Little School at Kids Cottage, Starkey and Company, P.A., as well as 16 individuals and families.
