Students Donate for a Cause

Milford School District students, families and staff raised a total of $1,129 to Stomp Out Cancer. Each donation became a chain link in the buildings. Milford Central Academy raised 80, Lulu Ross raised 306, Mispillion raised 345. Benjamin Banneker raised 186 and Morris Early Development raised 212.

Donations will still be accepted until June 12th or at the Relay for Life in the Milford School District Tent on June 16. Donations may also be sent to Mrs. Sue Smith, Mispillion’s Nurse, payable to “American Cancer Society,” comment “Relay Milford.”

From Friday, June 16 at 6 pm until Saturday, June 17 at 6 am, cancer survivors, their supporters and those who are working to eradicate the disease will walk the track at the former Milford Middle School for the annual Relay for Life.More details can be found at https://new.delawarelive.com/ML/2017/06/06/relay-for-life-celebrates-20-years-in-milford/.
