Harrington Woman Arrested For Theft

 

On June 13, 2017 at approximately 3:28 p.m., the Milford Police Department Patrol Division was dispatched to a business in the 1100 block of Airport Rd. Milford, DE 19963 for an internal theft complaint. Police state that investigation revealed that over the course of 8 ½ months, an employee, identified as Renee Baker, 23 of Harrington, DE, allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the business. According to police, investigation revealed that Baker allegedly falsified business records in the course of the theft. A warrant was prepared for Baker for one count of Theft over $1500.00 U.S.C. and one count of Falsifying Business Records.

On June 16, 2017, Baker turned herself into Milford Police Department and was arrested on the above charges. She was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $3000.00 unsecured bail with a no contact order with the victim. She was ordered to appear in Kent County Court of Common Pleas at a later date for a preliminary hearing.
