State Police Criminal Investigators at Troop 4 have arrested a boyfriend and girlfriend in a series of residential burglaries in the Lincoln area.
Detectives recently arrested Christopher S. Malvas, 32, and Cheryl L. Bracey, 30, both of Lincoln, in connection with multiple residential burglaries committed at various locations on Greentop Road, Mayhew Drive, Fleatown Road, and Cubbage Pond Road, that occurred between April and June of 2017. These burglaries occurred at various hours of the day to residences and outbuildings that were unoccupied at the time. Once breaking into the houses or outbuildings, the duo would remove various electronic devices, currency, jewelry, lawn equipment, scrap metal, and other power tools, and then attempt to sell or trade them for drugs.
Christopher Malvas was charged with six counts of Burglary, two counts of Possession of Burglar Tools, nine counts of Theft, two counts of Attempted Burglary, four counts of Attempted Theft, eight counts of Conspiracy, six counts of Criminal Mischief, Unlawful Use of a Credit Card, and Resisting Arrest. He was arraigned at JP2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $81,800.00 cash bond.
Cheryl Bracey was charged with three counts of Burglary, Possession of Burglar Tools, seven counts of Theft, two counts of Attempted Burglary, Attempted Theft, seven counts of Conspiracy, three counts of Criminal Mischief, Unlawful Use of a Credit Card, and Resisting Arrest. She was arraigned at JP2 and committed to Delores J. Baylor Womens Correctional Institution on $14,750.00 secured bond.
