Physical Altercation On Tull Way

On July 9, 2017 officers from the Milford Police Department responded to an apartment in the Brightway Commons Apartment Complex following a report of an assault. Police state that investigation revealed a 19 year old Milford woman reportedly ran towards the victim and threw a liquid in their face, that is believed to have been bleach. This action caused the victim to temporarily lose their vision. The suspect then reportedly struck the victim in the head. The suspect then entered a nearby vehicle and attempted to flea the area. As she did so, the victim who had approached the vehicle, had their arm caught in the drivers side window and was knocked to the ground. The victim received minor injuries as a result of this altercation. A warrant was later obtained for Gabrielle Knight, 19 of Milford. Ms. Knight later turned herself into the Milford Police Department, where she was charged with Assault Third Degree, Reckless Endangering, and Criminal Mischief Under $1000.00. Ms. Knight was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $1100.00 unsecured. Ms. Knight is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas in August.
