On July 17, 2017 officers from the Milford Police Department responded to McColley Street to a report of a wanted person in the area. As officers were en route there, another call was received my Milford Police Department’s Communications Division that this same subject was involved in a physical altercation with two females. Prior to arrival of officers all three parties fled. Eddie D. Roundtree, 49 of Lincoln was observed in the area and ran from officers. After a brief foot pursuit Mr. Roundtree was taken into custody without incident in the 100 block of Marshall Street. Mr. Roundtree has been charged with Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Roundtree was also wanted by Kent County Superior Court, Sussex, County Superior Court, and Delaware State Police Troop #7. Mr. Roundtree was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $1250.00 secured. Mr. Roundtree has since been turned over the Delaware State Police. This investigation in ongoing as investigators attempt to confirm the identity of the other two females involved in this case.
