Arrested for Theft of Prescription Medicine

On August 1, 2017 at approximately 8:29 a.m., the Milford Police Department Patrol Division took a late reported theft of prescription medication. The victim advised that they resided at the 100 block of Rockledge Crt., Hearthstone Manor, Milford, DE 19963. The victim advised that they had observed that they were missing several different types of prescription medication from their residence. The victim advised that the medication went missing in late June 2017. The victim advised at first they believed that there was an issue at the pharmacy, but they installed surveillance cameras in their residence and observed an acquaintance of theirs placing the prescription medication on their person. The acquaintance was identified as Kristen Adams, 35 of Milford, DE.

On August 4, 2017, an interview was conducted with Adams and after the interview she was charged with Theft Under $1500 USC (Deprive Person). She was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was released on $500.00 USC unsecured bail. She was also issued a no contact order with the victim. She was ordered to appear in Sussex County Court of Common Pleas at a later date in reference to this case.
