Avenue Church Kicks Off Fall

Staff Report

Avenue Church, 20 North Church Street in Milford, invites and welcomes the community to join its members and staff for the 2017 Fall Kickoff. This annual event includes a church picnic, portable laser tag course, live music and games. It is free to everyone.

The event will take place rain or shine on the front lawn of the church beginning at 5:00 pm. Sponsored by the Fusion Student Ministry, the Fall Kickoff is the first activity of the new school year for the youth of the church. Members of the church and community, along with visitors to the program are invited to come out to support the students as they continue along their spiritual journey of discovery.

“Our youth of all ages are important to Avenue Church. The Fall Kickoff is an activity we look forward to every year as we begin another year of the Fusion Student Ministry,” says Tom Pasmore, Senior Pastor at Avenue Church.

More than 80 students are part of the youth program at Avenue Church. Meetings take place at the church every Sunday night at 6:00 pm and students in grades 6-12 are invited to participate. For more information about the Fall Kickoff and/or the Fusion Student Ministry, families can contact Cliff McCall, Youth Pastor at Avenue Church, at 302-422-8111.
