Michelle Andrews Joins Masten Realty

Michelle Andrews says she has always had a passion for being active and involved in the community and this led her to seek a career in real estate. This week, she joined The Wes Cromer Group of Masten Realty as part of her commitment to community involvement.

“I wanted to have more freedom to better the community,” Ms. Andrews said. “I knew the skillset I had from my previous career would help lead my new clients to a rewarding investment.”

Ms. Andrews grew up in Kent County, graduating from Caesar Rodney High School in 2012. She started college at Delaware State University immediately after high school graduation, majoring in agriculture and minoring in business administration. She also participated on the Women’s Equestrian Team. She transferred to Delaware Technical and Community College – Terry Campus after two semesters, changing to double majors in human services and drug-alcohol counseling. She completed an internship at Morris Community Corrections Center and, when the internship ended, took a position at the facility as a Substance Abuse Counselor, a position she held for two years.

She decided to take a real estate pre-licensing course in Bethany Beach. The program was four weeks long from 9 AM until 4 PM, Tuesday through Friday.

“I was blessed to have fantastic instructors and a great group of classmates that made learning fun and easy,” Ms. Andrews said. “Once my pre-licensing course was completed, I passed my examination on August 16, 2017. I applied for my license and it became active on August 25, 2017. The team at Masten Realty is full of knowledge regarding many different pieces of the real estate business. They have supported me and encouraged my growth as a professional.”

The staff at Masten Realty said they are pleased to have Ms. Andrews’ expertise in their office. “Michelle is an enthusiastic entrepreneur that has recently joined the real estate field,” Danielle Dixon said. “With her dedication to excellence, persistent mindset and bright personality, Michelle has quickly become a great asset to Masten Realty. Michelle is currently progressing through coursework to become a residential appraiser. In addition to her responsibilities as a realtor, Michelle is also the Property Manager of Acorn Management, LLC.”

Ms. Andrews  is looking forward to expanding her knowledge of the area and building a network that will only continue to grow. “The best part of my job is that it encourages me to step outside my comfort zone and challenges me to be a better professional,” Ms. Andrews said. “I am greatly looking forward to combining my ambitious personality with my team’s knowledge, expertise and reputation within the community.”
