Drug investigation Leads to Multiple Arrests

On October 5, 2017 the Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit completed a two month long joint investigation with the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit into illegal drug sales. On 10.05.2017, shortly after 6:00 am, the Milford Police Department’s Special Operations Group executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of North Street. As a result of this search warrant a Glock handgun, United States Currency, and 2.45 grams of Heroin were seized. Kimberly Breems, 43 of Milford, and Gary A. Hudson, 27 of Magnolia, both were taken into custody without incident by MPD SOG team members. Ms. Breems has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession With The Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Hudson has been charged with Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited, Possession With the Intent To Deliver a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ms. Breems was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $20,000 cash only. Mr. Hudson was also presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $56,500.00 cash only. Both were committed to the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction at the Sussex Correctional Institution. Both are scheduled to appear for preliminary hearings on 10.13.2017 at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas. The Dover Police Department SORT assisted with this operation by executing a search warrant at an apartment on Allen Way in the Brightway Commons apartment complex. That search warrant resulted in six individuals who were actively being sought by various courts / agencies. Phillip Waters, 46 of Jacksonville, Florida, was wanted by both the Milford Police Department and Dover Police Department’s for forgery investigations. Mr. Waters was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and released on $6000.00 unsecured. Aisha Jones, 29 of Dover, was wanted by the Kent County Family Court. Ms. Jones was presented at the Kent County Family Court and released on $1000.00 unsecured. Janice Brown, 31 of Jacksonville, Florida, was wanted by the Dover Police Department for an active warrant for a forgery investigation. Ms. Brown was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and released on $3000.00 unsecured. Louise Brudge, 59 of Dover, was wanted by both the Kent County Court of Common Pleas and Kent County Family Court. Ms. Brudge was turned over to Delaware Capitol Police at the Kent County Court House to be presented on those warrants. Shanea Warren, 31 of Milford, was wanted by both Kent and Sussex County Court of Common Pleas. Ms. Warren was turned over to Delaware Capitol Police at the Kent County Court House to be presented on those warrants. Barry Caldwell 31 of Dover, was wanted by Kent County Court of Common Pleas, Justice of the Peace Court #7, Kent County Superior Court, and Kent County Family Court. Mr. Caldwell was turned over to Delaware Capitol Police at the Kent County Court House to be presented on those warrants. The Delaware State Police Kent and Sussex Counties Governor’s Task Force and the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team executed search warrants at residences in the 200 and 400 block of North Street also as part of this investigation.
