On October 29, 2017 Milford Police arrested a Milford man following an investigation of a suspected impaired driver. On 10.29.2017 at approximately 8:52 pm, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the parking lot of the Milford Plaza to a report of a vehicle possibly being operated by an intoxicated driver. Upon arrival the made contact with Raymond D. Flavin, 78 of Milford. Further investigation led officers to believe Mr. Flavin was under the influence of alcohol. As officers attempted to take Mr. Flavin into custody he struggled with them to prevent his apprehension, along with using offensive language. Mr. Flavin was eventually taken into custody and has been charged with Resisting Arrest and Driving A Vehicle Under The Influence of Alcohol. Mr. Flavin was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #7, where bail was set at $1000.00 unsecured. Mr. Flavin is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on 12.06.2017 for an arraignment.
